Acknowledging where your work is situated is a beautiful practice, connecting it to the past, to all your contemporaries, to all the beautiful art and theories.

However, since I strongly believe in the utopian potential of the internet, the free flow of knowledge and information is one of my core values which also informed this work. therefore I believe academic knowledge, texts, sources, should all be available freely and copyright abolished.

I try to implement this into my practice as much as possible, by archiving, downloading, torrenting, converting, uploading and making everything I base my work on available (illegally? who knows...)

The volatility of the internet has not been widely recognized, content comes and goes, its immediacy remains unnoticed while also impacting our lives more than we think. Sometimes you read a post in a stream of content, it lingers with you, but seems impossible to find again, as you sift through thousands of saved insta posts, youre left wondering if the creator deleted it? Did it get taken down by the platform? Has the story expired? Did it get censored?

To combat this loss I have amassed hundreds of thousands of screenshots, pdfs, videos, quotes,... in my own personal archive of my bubble over the past 10-15 years.

The internet archive has been a big pillar of my research, a wonderful project, dedicated to archiving websites and content on them, but also academic texts, scanned books, pdfs, movies, software, basically anything you can up-& download. And in this spirit I also want to share all the important pdfs of my research on my website, as well as all my artistic notes, a huge document that is unedited and has been filled continuously since the start of me taking my practice seriously around 2016.
